Detailed Pro Tan® Competiton Color Application Instructions
Pro Tan® Competition Color is a three part formula; it contains a self tanning complex (gets darker after application) a bronzer and stain. All three work together to give you the deepest darkest tan while absorbing into your skin so as not to cover up your cuts like some other products can. Because of this formula it is important that you use the product properly for the best results. First lets cover what Pro Tan® is not: 1) Pro Tan® is not a makeup and does not sit on top of your skin. 2) Pro Tan® is not oil based so it will not run off on everything you touch. Now that we got that out of the way lets talk about how to properly apply Pro Tan® for the perfect contest appearance. Every person has a different skin tone and complexion so this is why we recommend planning ahead of time. Our recommendation is to begin application up to three days prior to your event. For a competitor with an event on Saturday we would recommend starting your preparation on Wednesday. Begin applying Competition Color to clean hair free dry skin Wednesday Night. Spray product directly on applicator and or pour product into plastic cup and dip applicator into cup and apply liberally to the skin. Apply product sparingly around hairline, elbows, knees, etc. Once you have covered your entire body stand until the product is completely dry (15-20 minutes). A hair dryer can speed up the process. Once dry you may put on loose fitting clothing and go to bed. This will allow the self tanners to go to work darkening your skin considerably. When you wake up Thursday morning apply another coat exactly the same as the first. Let product dry completely. At this point the tanning complexes have been given time to work, and should be rinsed off Thursday evening. Evaluate your tan and if you would like to be darker add another Coat Thursday night just as before, go to bed and apply another Coat Friday Morning. At this point your tan should be perfect. Once again if you would like to be darker you can add another coat Friday evening. We recommend applying no more than two to three coats without rinsing. Rinsing removes the outer layer of product which allows the subsequent applications of Pro Tan® to absorb into your skin properly. When used as directed Pro Tan® is guaranteed to give you the deepest darkest tan available and will not rub off! Note: Your tan is one of the most important parts of your pre-contest preparation. We understand this and urge you to prepare ahead of time. Although Pro Tan® does take some work, it offers you by far the best and most appealing color on the market. Over the last 25 years we have tested and formulated countless products for instant contest tanning. Although we have come up with some truly awesome products we have been unable to reproduce the amazing results you get with our original Pro Tan®. You have worked hard to get your physique in top condition, now it's time to show it off. Don’t cover up your cuts with one coat products that sit on your skin like a layer of paint, use Pro Tan® and have confidence in knowing that more bodybuilders use Pro Tan® than any other contest tanning product.
